Handling conflict well is a skill to be honed. The goal is not to avoid conflict or be overwhelmed by its potential intensity, but to face it! : : : : : Facts about ~ Conflict: - It is apart of all close relationships. - Under the right conditions, can grow intimacy and bring satisfaction to a relationship. - In unhappy relationships conflict escalates problems, which will need to be resolved. : : Answers the Bible gives for handling conflict..... 1. Be slow to speak, and slow to be angry 😤 (James 1:19) 2. Look for the lesson in the anger (Psalms 4:4) 3. Observe your feelings, acknowledge what you feel and then let it go (Proverbs 16:32 4. Don’t let your anger escalate (Proverbs 19:19) 5. Re-Group (Proverbs 29:11) 6. Have a big picture perspective, Is your anger worth the relationship? God gives us all free will, we can choose to listen to him and follow him or you can choose not to. The bible promises it will be well with you if you follow him. You don't have to fear evil when you listen to the Lord and follow him, put your trust in him, and do things God's way.
